Next-Generation True® UTV Dual Battery Kit with Dual Display Volt Meter

 

The new updated True® UTV dual battery kit now includes a single meter with dual displays. The new voltage gauge is the same diameter but will measure just over 1” in thread depth so it needs a little more room behind the surface but is also able to be mounted in a much thicker material. Like the original meters, it is a 36mm waterproof/shockproof digital LED voltmeter that allows you to keep real-time track of what’s happening with your charge status on each individual battery. Conveniently True® has included all the necessary peripheral items for installation of the True UTV dual battery kit including those necessary to make sure the meters turn on and off with the ignition.
 

 The meter can mount anywhere you have a flat surface that can be drilled with a 29mm (1-1/8”+) hole. The True® dual battery isolator kit includes 8 ft. of duplex wire, a relay socket, and all the cable end connectors needed for a complete install. Does True® offer product warranty?

Yes, True® does offer a product warranty on its UTV battery isolators. While the exact terms may vary by retailer, most listings—including those on Amazon and official distributors—indicate a 30-day refund or replacement policy. This typically covers manufacturing defects or issues encountered during normal use.

Yes. All cables are adhesive-sealed and 100% waterproof, and the voltmeter is shockproof, making it ideal for rugged UTV environments.

Does the isolator draw power when the engine is off?
The True battery isolator (often referring to voltage-sensitive relay types) does draw a very small amount of power when the engine is off — typically in the range of 0.01 to 0.03 amps (10–30 milliamps). This standby current is used to monitor battery voltage so it knows when to reconnect the auxiliary battery once the engine starts.
Check that your system voltage is above the isolator’s cut-in threshold (usually 13.4V). Below that, the isolator won’t connect the batteries or activate the LED indicator.
It’s best to use batteries with similar amp-hour ratings and chemistry. Mixing a 14Ah starter with a 30Ah AGM accessory battery may cause uneven charging or premature wear.
