I just bought this pet carrier for birds for our male eclectus parrot, Mako. The Ibiyaya backpack for bird is sturdy and appears to be composed of high-quality materials. It is obviously designed to survive a bird that enjoys destroying anything within its grasp. Both sides of the bird carrier cage are composed of a robust steel mesh material that keeps the bird from damaging the sides while allowing it to see outside.

This is an upgrade from my last birdie backpack. It is a decent size for smaller birds (my green cheek has lots of room) the additional storage pockets are nice. I think my favorite thing is how dark the mesh is, I think it makes my bird feel safer but it also keeps people from coming up and staring at my bird in his pack. It also keeps it cooler in the summer. My only complaint is that it is quite bulky to carry around, but with that it is very sturdy. I will be purchasing a second one this spring for my Caique as well.
